A Dog Named Black Jack Animal Rescue is dedicated to saving urgent dogs from euthanasia lists in city shelters--primarily in California and Florida. They provide each rescued animal with safety, veterinary care, and a nurturing foster environment until they find a loving forever home.
Each year, approximately 920,000 animals are killed in shelters across the United States. Florida is 4th in the nation for animal shelter deaths. That means for every 10 dogs that enter a Florida shelter, 6 are put to sleep and only 4 make it out alive.
A Dog Named Black Jack is in the process of expanding their rescue operation in Florida. Their mission is rooted in the belief that every animal life matters and deserves the chance to know love, security, and compassion. You can be part of this mission to raise money and save more animals in Florida!
